HOW TO TREAT
FINE LINES + WRINKLES
First up, there's absolutely nothing wrong with having fine lines or wrinkles!
But if you do want to find a way to reduce their appearance, we've got a few devices up our sleeve that can help you out...
THE SCIENCE-Y BIT 👩🏻🔬
WHY DO WE GET LINES + WRINKLES?
There are so many contributing factors to why we develop sagging skin, fine lines and wrinkles. For now, let’s keep it simple and talk about 2 key things - skin and muscle.
SKIN TL;DR
As you probably know, the skin is made up of multiple layers - the thickest of which being the dermis (sitting just below the surface). Here’s where collagen and elastin live - types of connective protein tissue which provide strength and plumpness.
As we age, collagen and elastin gradually decrease, accelerated by lifestyle factors such as exposure to UV rays and eating too much sugar (psst … alcohol = sugar 🍇). So, the stimulation of collagen and elastin production will help to repair and rebuild making skin plumper and firmer.
MUSCLE TL;DR
Attached to the skin, you’ve got muscle. Just like all muscles in your body, regular exercise will do wonders - firming and tightening as well as encouraging blood flow to the area. Not only does increased blood flow bring more oxygen to the skin and muscle (making them healthier and more productive), it also helps to take away toxins.
The best way to tackle the appearance of fine lines + wrinkles is to target both the skin and the muscles.

MICROCURRENT TONING
Lift, tone and contour your face in just 5 minutes with the LiftOff Microcurrent Facial Toning Device.
Basically a workout for your face, small pulses of electrical current stimulate facial muscles below the skin’s surface, encouraging blood flow, collagen production and repair. Used by physios and aestheticians for years, you can now use microcurrent in the comfort of your own home.

LED LIGHT THERAPY
Microcurrent targets the muscle, LED Light Therapy targets the skin. Different colours on the visible light spectrum have different wavelengths. Depending on how long or short these wavelengths are, they penetrate the skin at different depths, triggering different responses. Still with us?
Red light penetrates the deepest, stimulating collagen and elastin production and encouraging blood flow. Used in salon treatments for years, the new GetLit LED Tri Colour Face Mask and XO LightsOut LED Cleansing Brush allow you to use these treatments at home as part of your daily skincare routine.

DO THE DOUBLE
CLEANSING
The double cleanse is a fundamental part of everyone’s skincare routine - or should be! The first cleanse should remove makeup, surface dirt and daily grime. The second cleanse is where we go deeper and really get the muck out of those pores.
By introducing a cleansing brush as a part of this second cleanse, not only are you helping to wobble impurities out of pores, but the gentle Vibra-Sonic™ or Micro-Sonic vibrations are helping to massage and stimulate blood flow. As we learned earlier, this is a good thing! Your skin will instantly feel cleaner, brighter and tighter.
NOURISH + REPAIR
SERUMS
Once you’ve cleansed, toned and treated, finish off your routine by nourishing your skin with a serum or booster before your moisturiser and SPF.
Derived from Vitamin A, Retinol is a powerful active ingredient designed to plump up the skin to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Apply daily* and use an infuser such as ScrubUp to help the products penetrate deeper.
*Do not apply Retinol within 24 hours either side of microcurrent treatment as it may cause irritation.
