Beauty Trends To Look Out For In 2018

We asked some of Beauty's top experts to give us a rundown on what to look out for in the world of beauty this year, and what should most definitely be left behind in 2017!

Move over 'Clean Eating' It's Time For Clean Beauty

The well-known food movement has transformed our approach to wellness. Physical, mental and spiritual well-being has now become a top priority for many. It's now set to revolutionise our approach to beauty.

The evidence is slowly emerging that certain ingredients have negative health implications, whether they are ingested or applied to the skin. This has put many of our much-loved products under the microscope.

Interestingly, clean is not to be confused with 'natural'. Products and brands ‘free of’ harmful ingredients are considered ‘clean’, including silicones, parabens and sulfates. Meaning that a brand can be ‘clean’ without being ‘natural’ It's not a trend limited for the natural consumer, it appears everyone wants clean this year.

Simplified Routines

2018 will see a beauty movement that is all about simplification. Expect to see multi-step skincare processes, like the much coveted Korean beauty routines, be replaced in favour of aired down processes, and multi-purpose products.

In 2018, consumers will be most excited by brands that sell a compacted range of products that advocate simplicity and ease. Instead of purchasing multiple cleaning lotions, creams and balms, products like WipeOut! Cleansing cloth to remove makeup with just water. Or BendUp to apply any makeup products, designed to blend; foundation, concealer, tint, blush and bronze to airbrushed perfection. It also comes with Biomaster antibacterial protection to help prevent cross-contamination and unwanted breakouts.

Fresh Faced And Fancy-Free

Much like the above, as well as simplifying your routine, it seems that the trends are swaying to a more 'Barefaced' approach to makeup. Go for less makeup and more skin. A  healthy glowing finish on the skin is in instead of matte caked or powdery finish

A great way to kick off 2018 is to invest in your skin. Treat yourself to a Barefaced cleansing brush that uses a combination of sonic oscillations and pulsed vibrations to deep-cleanse, massage and tone your skin at the same time. So now you can get your face looking just as healthy as your resolutions in 2018! And If you do fancy wearing a slick of makeup, look for products that exaggerate the attributes that signify wellness. Blendupbuffs and blends even the lightest of makeup or concealer to leave skin looking healthy and natural.

It seems simple, leave contouring for the red carpet and embrace the flush of health that comes from your new found outdoorsy and active lifestyle? Even if you are just wearing yoga pants to brunch and that dewy glow is simply perfectly appliedblush than the after-effects of a particularly intense Bikram session.

I love my Wipe out and use it first to remove makeup and then I use my usual cleanser so I’m saving money during my double cleanse! Wipe out is BRILLIANT
